Biographical Info

A Sound Agency was founded by Laura Pruett, MT-BC in 2014 when she moved to Arizona from California. Laura studied music therapy at California State University, Northridge and completed her internship with Seasons Hospice in Pasadena, CA. Then she worked in a Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility in Costa Mesa, as well as an acute in-patient psychiatric hospital in L.A. county before moving to Arizona.

Since moving to Arizona, Laura has worked in schools, adult day centers, skilled nursing facilities, family resource centers, hospitals, as well as client's homes to provide group and individual music therapy sessions for various clients meeting various needs and goals.

Services Offered:

A Sound Agency provides music therapy services for older adults in SNF and ALF settings, hospice patients, and early childhood (ages 0-5) groups.
Perinatal clients for music therapy during pregnancy, birth, and/or the immediate post-partum period are accepted when Laura is available.
A Sound Agency also provides private music lessons for piano or guitar.
