Biographical Info

Kelly has been a practicing Board Certified Music Therapist for 16 years. Kelly graduated from Ohio University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Music Therapy. In 2007, Kelly completed her 7 month internship at Capital District Beginnings in Albany, NY, working with kids in special education in the schools and home setting. Kelly was then hired on staff, after internship, at Capital District Beginnings. In 2009, Kelly moved to Phoenix, AZ and worked as a Music Therapy Contractor for Heartland Therapy, under the DDD umbrella, until 2014. Kelly established her own private practice, Kelly West Music Therapy, in 2010. She currently an itinerant music therapist who contracts with schools and private clients throughout the East Valley of Phoenix, AZ working with children with special needs. Kelly has been married for 15 years and has two children who are 7 and 9 years old.
